Location:
This role is based in our Dunedin National Office; you must be located in Dunedin or willing to relocate to Dunedin – please specify this in your Cover Letter.
Just some of the things you’re responsible for:
- Execute manual and automated testing across web and API layers to ensure high-quality delivery within a modern distributed platform.
- Collaborate early with engineers and product teams to define quality standards and embed QA into the development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain test plans, automation scripts, and documentation while continuously improving test processes.
- Support regression and release testing in a fast-paced transformation environment.
- Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, partnering with developers on root cause analysis.
- Increase test automation coverage and CI/CD pipeline efficiency to accelerate delivery and reduce risk.
- Champion a culture of quality through continuous improvement and adoption of modern QA tools and practices.
You’ll need to have:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Comfortable in an agile environment, we use Kanban primarily.
- Strong understanding of manual testing practices and test case design.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and release management.
