About the role:

Customer Service & Loan Processing:

  • Respond promptly to all customer communications, providing meaningful updates in a professional, clear and consistent way that reflects our brand and values.
  • Provide sound advice and demonstrate comprehensive understanding of products, regulations and requirements both within the business and in the context of the regulatory environments.
  • Prepare, process and track loan applications, ensuring all client information is accurate and validated.

Product Information and Financial Advice:

  • Provide clients with detailed product information and financial advice within the scope of the services offered.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of our products, creating a pathway to yes and the best outcomes for our customers within the guidelines of the Responsible Lending Code and MTF Finance guidelines.
  • Ensure all advice and information provided is compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, and conduct obligations.
  • Limit advice to the products provided by the Lending People, in line with the "information only" policy supported by AMI (digital advice).

You’ll need to have:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5), is required for this position.
  • Previous experience in a lending role or a customer service role, preferably within the financial services industry; and the ability to quickly grasp and work within legislative or regulated requirements.
  • Clear understanding of CCCFA and Anti-Money Laundering & Countering Financing of Terrorism rules and regulations is desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills with an enthusiasm for, and ability to adapt to new technology.
