The First Avenue franchise is currently experiencing strong growth and seeks to appoint a Finance Sales Consultant to join its busy and successful team.
About the role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic full-timer who will work in our First Avenue office. This role requires someone who is energetic, highly driven and with a strong customer focus who can establish effective professional relationships across our portfolio of clients. You will have a high desire to succeed and can identify new opportunities to grow and meet company objectives.
Just some of the things you’re responsible for:
- Work with management to develop and implement sales plans to ensure achievement of agreed objectives and sales targets, maintaining low arrears and compliance with relevant law
- Work with management to identify and service business opportunities with clients
- Achieve portfolio and sales income, profit, and growth targets
- Identify, build, and maintain excellent customer relationships while providing regular sales reports
- Become an expert in our product offerings ensuring clients understand the full range of options available
- Provide superior service to Dealer and Introducer network
- Maintenance of existing customer database and use for referrals
- Conduct regular market analysis and report back to management on opportunities identified
- Follow up on complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with the development and promotion of the MTF brand in the market while professionally attending networking events as required
- Providing lending support through each stage of the application process and ensure applications and documentation are processed in accordance with established policy, and relevant regulatory requirements
- Ensuring your work is completed accurately, efficiently, professionally, and ethically.
You'll need to have:
- Previous experience in a sales consultant role or with a financial services company, with sound understanding of the sales process
- Proven experience in meeting sales targets and objectives
- An understanding of the CCCFA, Privacy, Fair Trading, Credit and AML/CFT Acts
- A database of qualified new business prospects (desirable)
- Excellent relationship building, negotiation, communication, and time management skills
- Organised and efficient with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident working with numbers and can grasp new technology products quickly
- Level 5 Financial Services certificate is preferred.
