how to make a claim
Call 0800 809 700 and we’ll help you find your nearest Vero approved repairer. If your vehicle can’t be driven safely, we can arrange to have it towed. If your vehicle breaks down unexpectedly, we’ll cover the reasonable costs of repairing most mechanical and electrical parts. See your certificate of insurance for any exclusions.
24-hour AA Roadside Assistance
No matter where you are or when, AA Roadservice is only a phone call away. You need to quote your policy number and vehicle registration number when you call. Call 0800 581 581 for help with:
- mechanical breakdown
- towing
- flat battery
- lost or locked out key
- flat tyre
- out of fuel
accommodation and vehicle rental
If your vehicle takes more than 24 hours to repair and you’re more than 100km away from home, we’ll pay for up to five days accommodation or up to five days vehicle hire (both to a maximum $500).

We’ll pay to tow your vehicle to the nearest Vero approved repairer, from wherever you are.
generous claim limits
There is no limit to the number of claims you can make during the policy period. The most we will pay in total for claims under this policy is ($20,000). The most we will pay for any single claim is:
- up to 125,000 kms $8,000
- up to 175,000 kms $5,000
- up to 225,000 kms $3,000
